Liver cleansing – naturally with juices and smoothies

Today is once again Detox-Your-Body-Time and that’s why I write about how it is to maintain the liver, which is your biggest internal organ, on a regular basis and to support it with its daily tasks.

The detoxification of the body is just one of many hundreds of functions that this vital organ fulfills day after day. The liver filters your blood and removes the substances that the body then uses or excretes. It produces the bile that is essential for your digestion and process nutrients, regulates metabolism and controls fat burning. The liver also participates in the synthesis of plasma proteins and is responsible for the storage of essential vitamins in the body.

Healthy liver for a better quality of life

Did you know that in addition to the food we eat, so we get toxins from the air, water and the skin in our body, whose processing is then the liver’s task? Orange and ginger juice

Add 250ml of fresh orange juice, a piece of fresh ginger and a tablespoon of olive oil to the blender. This detox drink has an anti-inflammatory effect and promotes release of toxins.

Strawberry water with watermelon and rosemary

You give 200gr of strawberries, two pieces of watermelon with half a liter of water in a blender. Add fresh sprigs of rosemary to this drink and let it soak for a few hours. This detox drink provides you with plenty of fluids and is rich in antioxidants. He helps to eliminate pollutants.

Apple juice with cinnamon and lemon

Place two pitted apples in a juicer and mix with a liter of water and the juice of a lemon. Season with fresh cinnamon. The lemon has an antiseptic and detoxifying effect while cinnamon and apple detoxify. This detox drink is rich in fiber and antioxidants.

Beetroot juice with lemon

Process a large beetroot with 200ml of water and the juice of a lemon in a blender. Drink this detox drink directly for breakfast. Beetroot has a strong antioxidant and detoxifying effect. Ideal for discharging heavy metals. The lemon so emits more pollutants here.
